Skilled in intergovernmental negotiation, facilitation, strategic policy development and communication, critical analysis, leadership and program management. Expertise in global security policy, sustainable development, small island developing States, gender, disaster risk reduction and climate change. A strong team player who strives to help others be their best selves.

I envisions a Somalian society where a modernizing, equitable, sustainable, and participatory local governance is thriving; the poor and marginalized are organized and empowered to autonomously pursue the resolution of their issues within the framework of inclusive and social development; and within a social and political context characterized by democratic pluralism and enabling electoral system and culture that will strengthen respect for human rights and the rule of law.
